Filha da Mãe-d’água, Iara é uma bela sereia que vive no fundo dos mares e rios. Sua beleza e seu canto atraem homens e animais para beira da água.

Protetora das criaturas marinhas, adora brincar de esconde-esconde com os pequenos peixes e contar histórias sobre o Boto, Iemanjá e Neptuno.
